Amend the grant.
Issue a new Grant that supersedes an existing one. Common amendments — strike-price repricing under a board-approved plan, expiration extension on early exercise, vesting modification on retention, partial cancellation — each emit a fresh Grant with amended_from_grant_id pointing at the predecessor, and amendment_reason set to the typed enum value. The predecessor's exercised_quantity carries over; its expiration_date is set to the amendment date and the predecessor moves to a superseded state.
Requires an authorizing_resolution_id for any amendment that affects ISO-qualifying terms (strike-price repricing, expiration extension beyond statutory limits) so audit can reconstruct the board action that approved the change.
?dry_run=true returns the proposed amendment package without executing.
