Search trademark.
Run a USPTO TESS search for mark in the supplied Nice classes, capture the structured result, and return a TrademarkSearch resource on the entity. Idempotent on (entity_id, mark, classes, jurisdiction, search_date) — re-running the same search the same day returns the existing snapshot rather than re-querying USPTO.
Use this before a public brand launch to gauge clearance, then again before filing the actual application to confirm no late-filed conflicts have appeared. The returned result summarizes severity; conflicts[] lists individual matches with their serial numbers and overlapping classes for further review.
